Q: I'm a solo practitioner. Can I really afford to perform stress testing in my own office?
A: Definitely. Through economies of scale and efficient protocols developed over 6 years of experience, UND
makes in-office stress testing affordable - even for solo practitioners. Break even at only 6 tests / month.
Q: What kind of commitment does getting into nuclear medicine require?
A: Our lease plan involves no money out of pocket. You are cash flow positive from the first month of testing. We have a buyout option after one year. All you need is 10' X 15' of space.
Q: How soon after signing the contract can I start testing?
A: UND will have the operation ready to go within few weeks. This includes installation, licenses, training and staffing.
Q: Whose Nuclear Stress testing protocol do you use?
A: All of our technicians are trained according to the Duke University protocol. Duke has been a pioneer in the field of nuclear medicine and has developed widely accepted protocols that deliver proven results. UND is one of few centers in the country certified by Duke University.
Q: What if I don't know how to interpret the tests?
A: UND can refer you to several nuclear cardiologists who can interpret the tests for you and have the results back to you in a timely manner for about $50.00 a test.
Q: If I am only leasing and UND provides all of the support, how is it legal?
A: The government stipulates that we share the financial risk. UND has financial risk by holding the lease and you have financial risk from the minimum payment. The government does not stipulate that you need to purchase a camera.
